Pizza Patron has been serving up hot pies to pizza lovers primarily in the south and southwest for almost 20 years.
What makes this chain unique is the Latin flair in each of its restaurants.
In fact, this chain touts itself as the #1 Latin pizza brand.
This restaurant chain prides itself on celebrating the Latin culture and lifestyle by offering a unique experience that respects and honors the traditions and heritage found within the Hispanic culture.
Found throughout neighborhoods in California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Colorado, Georgia and Las Vegas.
Texas has the most locations for this restaurant with about 31 restaurants.
This progressive pizza chain is also trying out a drive-thru concept
in Houston. No more waiting for 30 minutes…just drive through and
your pizza
is handed to you hot in about three minutes. Interesting idea. I wonder
if other chains will follow suit?
Pizza Patron’s menu includes traditional pizza flavors and toppings, but with an added Latin flair on several of their pies. The Pizzas Especiales include:
La Patrona – pepperoni, ground beef, ham, sausage, black olives, mushrooms, onions & bell peppers.
La Mexicana – Chorizo, ground beef, onions, bell peppers and Jalapenos.
La Hawaiana – extra ham, extra pineapple and extra cheese.
La Vegetariana – mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives and onions.
La de Carnes – pepperoni, ground beef, ham and sausage.
Of course you can also build your own combo by choosing from a list of standard pizza toppings.
If you like chicken wings, you’re in luck as the Patron offers them in with Lime-n-Pepper flavorings, Garlic-con-Queso or Buffalo style (at participating locations). Or get a side of hot breadsticks with your pie and round the meal off with a Churro!
My mouth is starting to drool. Of course, that happens every time I do a write-up on any pizza restaurant. But I digress!
If you’re looking for an after work place to sit, watch the game and sip a beer while enjoying your pizza pie, then this isn’t the right place for you. You can’t order alcohol here and most likely your location won’t have the big game on a big screen.
But if you’re looking for a quick, affordable meal for pizza night, then this place may just hit the spot!
Pizza Patron prices are quite affordable. In some places you could score a pizza for around $5. Some might compare prices to Little Caesars Pizza.
How does the taste compare?
Of course that’s a matter of opinion. Some love it, some say it’s better than your typical chain like
Pizza Hut or Dominos. Others say the flavor falls flat.
